bobarnott.com: school

There seems to be a bit of a fad at the moment for school nostalgia, something to do with the Friends Reunited website me thinks. Not only that, but there's even a night club called School Disco where you have to go along dressed in your old school uniform. Personally I can't see what the fuss is all about, I hated school.

So you might be asking why the hell I've stuck up a web page about my school days if I didn't like them very much. Mainly for the novelty value I suppose, as I was flicking through the old high school year book and having a bit of a laugh at the photos and descriptions. Take the last part of my description:

"We all wish him well with his chosen career (as long as he doesn't decide that he wants to become a rocket scientist)."

Funny how things work out really with me being on the council of the United Kingdom Rocketry Association and running the East Anglian Rocketry Society. You can see some of the rocket stuff I get up to on my rocketry pages, and yes, I always wanted to be a rocket scientist as it sounds much cooler than being a brain surgeon.
