Rocketry

rocketry: rockets: retired

These rockets are the ones that have either flown too much or spacked! Either way they are no longer either flight worthy or are being retired out of respect for the number of flights they have done. I learn something from all my rockets and use this information to refine my design and construction techniques in the hope that the rockets I build in the future will be better.

9th June 2004

I've moved Electric Blue into this section as the toasting it got from the Pro38 I285 motor failure has knackered it. While I think it might stand up to another flight or two, it's not worth the risk, so it's been moved to here.

13th June 2002

I've moved MTRS into this section as realistically, I'm never going to get round to rebuilding the missing parts of the system. The remaining 7x24mm booster section lost a couple of its fins in a bizarre accident and since I'm trying to progress my larger rockets, I just don't feel I'll ever get round to repairing the damage.

11th November 2001

I've moved Certainty into this section as I've flown the rocket 10 times now. I'll bring her out every once in a while to lob, but for now it's time to fly other rockets.

24th March 2000

I have moved this section from the main menu as I felt as the number of rockets I am building will swamp the menu and make it less usable. This was means I can build as many rockets as I want and keep the menu simple and functional.
