A number of people (Jo) have been telling me that I don't post enough about Finlay and that I spend too much time warbling on about Triathlon. Karen pointed out today that I last posted about the wee man in August; which seems just like last week, oh how time flies!
So here are some photos that we've taken of the wee man over the last month or so. I've tried to send these to a number of people, but they don't seem to be getting them, so hopefully they'll be able to see them on the website instead.

I'm trying to redesign my website as it's been like this for ages and while I like it, it's getting a bit boring. Problem is I haven't a clue what colours go together, nor do I have the time to actually changes al the pages. I keep on telling myself that I'll move to a content system that uses templates, or that I'll learn how to use Dreamweaver or something similar. Either way I need some inspiration.
Finally got my copy of Renaissance, The Mix Collection, Sasha & John Digweed, Remastered 10th Anniversary Edition in the mail yesterday. I ordered it at the start of November, but Amazon took ages to actually get it out to me. Was it worth the wait though...?
Without doubt the answer has to be yes. This CD along with the original Northern Exposure mix are the two CDs I wish I'd bought when I was a student back in Aberdeen and was getting in this kind of music. I managed to tape a copy of Joel's (a flat mate) CD so for the last ten years I've had it in my car, but it's not the same and I couldn't listen to it in the house or on the computer at work.
Even though it sounds cleaner than I remember and some of the tracks have changed, it's still the best mix CD ever. It also doesn't skip and I don't have to turn it over in the middle of a song. I want to go clubbing now...
Went to Prague over the weekend for works Christmas party and have come back have broken with a stinking cold. Not only have I managed to do my left shoulder again, I strained my right calf running away from a bunch of rampant Scottish women, who were trying to look up my kilt and I fell over in the hotel (long story) and thumped my left hip.
On the plus side I managed to get to a couple of good brewpubs, one of which claims to be the oldest in the world. I bought some beer from them both and intend to have it on Christmas day, so I'll post a report them then. On the negative side, I couldn't find any Budvar Dark and even had an argument with a Czech bloke who claimed they only did light beer. So I'll just have to try and order some over the web or something...
