Really busy at the moment which is why I haven't been updating here. However, I bought an iMagic turbo trainer last week with all my Xmas money and loose change. I also had to get a better graphics card as it requires one with 128Mb to do all the virtual reality stuff. So I bought a new graphics card and then found out that my power supply was too much of a wimp to run it, so I had to order a new power supply.
All the bits had arrived by last night, so I got them all out when I, eventually, got home and then I put them all away again. A some point in the past, it's been a while, graphics cards got all powerful and now require being jacked into the main power unit of the PC (some even require a laptop like external source as well).
Not wanting to blow up my nice shiny new toys, as the power supply was muttering about a graphics card power plug, but it had two PCI-E and not a blue Molex connector in sight. After a quite call to the supplier it turns out I just plug in a spare hard disk connector and I'm away.
So I'm hoping to get the PC all setup this evening, dunno what it's going to do to my Debian install, so I've got Knoppix at the ready. If it all goes well, then I hope to get the iMagic up and running over the weekend.
